Productivity 3 Toolbar promises to help you to make your navigation more efficient and productive, and it does it by making available some of the most used tools during a regular web surfing, such as a calculator, a web search engine which integrates the ability to search in my space, eBay, YouTube and other engines and sites, as well as a tool to translate words, a dictionary and a field to browse in Wikipedia. It also has a block that lets you translate a whole page to another language.
Next, it has a drop-down list called TOOLS that integrates a to-do list, a calendar, maps, world clocks, another translator tool, scientific calculator or a simple calculator, a unit converter, a file converter, a currency converter, a day calculator, a shoe and clothing size converter, a calories calculator and a stop watch.
Right next to the tools drop list there’s a radio player, streaming live audio form a web station with a predefined set of stations that can be modified adding your own radio stations. Next to it there is a green button, that enables you to ask a question through “akaqa.com” and get responded. You also can answer questions other users asked.
The tool bar is complemented with a weather report, a module to get your email notifications and a link to sign in to your Facebook account, a coupon buddy link, etc.
It is like a Swiss Army Knife full of useful stuff. It was obviously designed for making you spend more time in the internet, but gives you the feel that you did more in less time, giving you the sensation that you saved time, when in fact you spent more than you originally planned.
